Craig Colton took to the stage to perform Adele’s "Hiding My Heart" at the X Factor 2011 auditions... Craig Colton surprised his parents when he turned up on stage at the Liverpool x factor auditions. Craig's parents were in the audience but had no idea he was going to audition because he wanted to surprise them, as he started to sing his mum and dad looked so shocked to see their son on stage and his big strong voice brought his mum to tears. He even revealed that he had his mum iron his work clothes that morning to throw her off from finding out what he was up to. All four judges voted to put Craig through to bootcamp, with Tulisa saying he could go very far in the competition.
