Loading Tweets seems to be taking a while

I get this message when i open a twitter page "Loading Tweets seems to be taking a while. Twitter may be over capacity or experiencing a momentary hiccup. Try again or visit Twitter Status for more information." some pages load but the majority dont, i cant even access my own twitter page, i get the same message. Im using firefox 7.0.1 on windows vista, i also have ie and chrome and twitter seems to load ok with these browsers, its just firefox thats having trouble loading.

Try again or visit Twitter Status for more information.' It was ok last week just noticed the problem yesterday with firefox as you said it works ok in internet explorer, strange

hi cola i have tried what you said tools-clear recent history, but its still the same and will not load most twitter pages 8.(

Try this... go FireFox > Tools and select Clear Recent History in the box that comes up make sure there is a tick in cookies, cache and site preferences.

thanx cola that worked straightaway, i never had a tick in site preferences, but as soon as i put a tick in it and cleared it it worked fine. thanx again cola
